Farm Credit of Western Arkansas

Marketing & Communications Team

The Farm Credit of Western Arkansas Board is comprised of 11 directors: nine elected by customer-stockholders and two appointed Directors. Farm Credit of Western Arkansas members elected one customer-stockholder Director in this year’s election, to serve a four-year term beginning October 25, 2024:

Area 2 Director

Stephen “Steve” Young of Franklin County was re-elected to the Board for a four-year term. He has served on the Farm Credit of Western Arkansas Board since 2020. Herbert “Herby” L. Ault of Perry County was the other candidate in this race.

The following customer-stockholders were elected to serve a one-year term on the Nominating Committee beginning October 25, 2024:

Area 1C: Carol “Ann” Russell, Sebastian County
Area 2A: Robert W. Caldwell, Yell County
Area 2B: Ronnie R. Whitley, Jr., Logan County

Area 3A: Melanie S. Glass, Lafayette County
Area 3B: Jake Cornelius, Nevada County
Area 3C: Suzanne L. Watkins, Hempstead County
