Meet the 2024 Interns
Farm Credit of Western Arkansas welcomes six college students to its team this summer to assist in the operations of the organization. Meet the individuals who have devoted their summer to enriching rural Arkansas.
It’s National Intern Day! Farm Credit of Western Arkansas is celebrating by recognizing its six summer interns of 2024. During their time with the organization, interns travel across Western Arkansas to visit different branches, learn the operations of the organization and develop meaningful relationships with members and staff. Keep reading to learn about each intern and their assignments this summer.
Mary Eichenberger - Legal Intern
Mary Eichenberger is a second-year student at the University of Arkansas School of Law, pursuing her juris doctor. She joins Farm Credit of Western Arkansas this summer as a legal intern, bringing valuable legal knowledge, industry experience and passion for Arkansas agriculture to the team. Mary is a 2023 graduate of the University of Arkansas, where she studied ag business and minored in legal and southern studies. She is from Clarksville, AR and operates out of the Tontitown branch.
Flossie Glinski - Communications Intern
Flossie Glinski is a senior public relations student at Arkansas Tech University, with minors in business and social media. This summer, she joins Farm Credit of Western Arkansas as a communications intern and is responsible for the creation, curation and distribution of media. Flossie is from Damascus, Arkansas and operates out of Central Office.
Alaina Howard - Customer Service Representative Intern
Alaina Howard is a business administration student at Arkansas Tech University and holds her associate’s degree in accounting from Arkansas State University Three Rivers. She joins Farm Credit of Western Arkansas as a customer service representative intern, bringing her bright personality and experience to the team. Alaina is from Malvern, Arkansas and operates out of the Benton branch.
Brady Jackson - Field Services Intern
Brady Jackson is a junior ag business major at Southern Arkansas University. He joins Farm Credit of Western Arkansas this summer as a field services intern, traveling Southwest Arkansas to conduct chattel evaluations and visit members’ operations. Brady is from Foreman, Arkansas and operates out of the Texarkana branch.
Madison Price - Field Services Intern
Madison Price is a recent graduate from the University of Arkansas, where she studied agricultural business and minored in international economic development. She will return to the University of Arkansas in the fall to begin pursuing her Masters in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness. This summer, Madison joins our team as a field services intern, traveling to branches across the River Valley to meet with farmers and discuss their operations. Madison is from Branch, AR and operates out of the Paris branch.
JD Smith - Field Services Intern
JD Smith is a senior studying ag business and minoring in animal science at the University of Arkansas. This summer, he joins Farm Credit of Western Arkansas as a field services intern covering Northwest Arkansas, visiting Farm Credit members across the region and conducting chattel evaluations. JD is from Berryville, AR and operates out of the Tontitown branch.
